He was a great guy - I live in Ramsgate where he lived most of his life and belong to a group that preserves his heritage to some extent. I cooked a C19th meal from his wife's cookbook once. Lovely to see him cropping up in the ether.
Excellent. I'm translating a novel about early settlers in Palestine at the beginning of the twentieth century, and he's cropping up a lot.
