We went to Padova. Padova has a
celebrated botanic garden (the site the link sends you to has a nice opening paragraph of my-botanical-garden-is-more-significant-than-yours penis waving). In the Padova botanic garden are: fairytale plants;

T.S. Eliot-style lilies;

and a vast hollowed-out plane tree.

Padova also has a university. The university contains nesting pigeons and building work.
